Ruby has been trained by the Industry Experts from the ULTIMATE Fashion Institute of Technology of New York (FIT) and Professional Studies Program, as well as Altos de Chavón School of Art and Design, experience that provides her the professional skills to become a Fashion Entrepreneur, Jewelry Designer and Inspirational Style Icon.

As Emerging Jewelry Designer, their collections have been shown internationally in New York City and Barcelona during The Changing Room www.changingroom.org, as well as at the Puerto Rico High Fashion Week, as upscale and handmade jewelry since, 2010. She has been selected as one of the exclusive Jewelry Artist for the Museum of Art of Puerto Rico store. Her designs have been featured in fashion magazines such as: Ocean Drive, Revista EGO, Condado Magazine, Imagen, Matte Mag, El Nuevo Día newspaper and FashionVitrine.com. As well as, have been seen on celebrities as the Puerto Rico Olympic Gymnast, Tommy Ramos, Amercian Next Top Model, Jaslene González, and international beauty pageant as Miss Idaho USA 2009 by Melissa Weber Jones, and Miss Washington USA 2008 by Michelle Font.

Ruby has also dabbled in the Jewelry styling after her professional studies at the FIT. Her strong communications skills for public speaking makes her to become a TV Spokesperson with her own television segment as the Jewelry Designer for the CONTIGO TV Show from the Puerto Rico TV Broadcast System, produced to educate about fashion jewelry designs and styling techniques for enhance personal image. She is also a certified jewelry instructor whom is specialized in jewelry making workshops for groups and classes.

Dávila is a specialist in making a perfect match between business and fashion industry for success, and her goal-maker drive makes her to become a Fashion Entrepreneur Mentor to helping others to lead business competitors.

She is a former Mentor and Professor of the Entrepreneurship Development Centre at the Interamerican University (Metropolitan Campus), and transforms her business oriented knowledge to a prominence entrepreneurial mindset after her training experience with the Entrepreneur Top World Leader Education Program for educators by Babson College.

Dávila has become an Inspirational Style Icon for professionals and dedicates her talent, time and expertise supporting apparel & accessories  brands, fashion boutiques and various local emerging fashion designers, to create a successful entrepreneurial framework for their business, through the Higher Fashion an Advanced Education Program founded with her friend and business partner Eva Vázquez www.higherfashion.info

RUBY DÁVILA-RENDÓN - Biografía

Nacida en Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, de madre Colombiana, Ruby Dávila-Rendón se denomina así misma “colombiarriqueña”. Comenzó sus creaciones de joyería a partir de sus estudios en el Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) en Nueva York. Su especialización es el diseño de joyería hecha a mano con metales preciosos, diseños escultóricos y piezas de arte funcionales (wearable arts).

Sus creaciones se han presentado en las plataformas de moda de mayor relevancia en San Juan, como Puerto Rico High Fashion Week y San Juan Moda. También ha tenido exposición internacional tanto en Nueva York como en Barcelona, donde participó del evento The Changing Room: Edición Frío 2015. Su arte ha sido reseñado en revistas prestigiosas como Ocean Drive, Revista Ego, Condado Magazine, Matte MAG, Imagen, y Fashion In Vitrine, entre otras. Celebridades como Jaslene González (America's Next Top Model), Mariana Vicente (Miss Puerto Rico Universe 2009), Melissa Weber (Miss Idaho USA 2009) y Michelle Font (Miss Washington USA 2008) han lucido sus prendas.

Además de su desempeño como diseñadora de joyería, Dávila-Rendón se especializa en el mercadeo de modas, planificación estratégica y desarrollo de empresas. Es cofundadora del programa de educación avanzada empresarial Higher Fashion. Esta plataforma educativa está diseñada para transformar a los diseñadores en empresarios, e impulsar sus carreras profesionales de manera sólida para que sus negocios sean sustentables. Dávila desarrolló su peritaje en negocios con sus estudios en el programa de Entrepreneurship de Babson College y su maestría en Administración de Negocios Internacionales de la Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico. Desde el 2015 es miembro del Consejo Asesor para el Desarrollo de las Industrias Creativas de Puerto Rico.

Esta embajadora para el diseño emergente en la Isla también es profesora universitaria de empresarismo; así como conferenciante y presentadora de televisión para secciones especializadas en diseño y creación de joyería.
